Kotobukiya has revealed its official illustration and prototype sculpt models of the work-in-progress 'Felicia', who will feature in Kotobukiya's upcoming Darkstalkers line of BISHOUJO figures.
Felicia strikes a dynamic pose with claws raised, her tail looped around her and blue hair billowing!
From these pictures, fans can get a really good idea of how the statue will look upon it's release, expected around May 2022. While still a work in progress, the company announced that it will be releasing more updates in the future.
Felicia was first introduced in Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors alongside Morrigan Aensland. She has appeared in every game in the series and in numerous cross overs along with Morrigan, Baby Bonnie Hood and Anakaris.
Felicia is an energetic and optimistic catgirl who enjoys singing, dancing and making friends. All she wishes for is peaceful coexistence with humans and she doesn't resort to fighting if she can avoid it. However, as a cat-human hybrid she is a capable fighter - she is one of the fastest and most agile Darkstalker characters being able to do flips, jumps, fast lunges and leaps. Most of her attacks are fierce, scratching and striking with her hands and feet. She can also turn into a cat!
Based on artwork by master Japanese illustrator Shunya Yamashita, the BISHOUJO series aims to provide figures inspired by Japanese art to fans throughout the world.
