As a Kryptonian, Power Girl possesses the same powers as Superman and her physical strength is matched by her headstrong personality.  

She wears a distinctive white, red, and blue costume and has an aggressive fighting style.

Power Girl notably fought crime and supervillains alongside the Justice Society of America and became the team's first chairwoman.  She uses the secret identity of computer programmer, Karen Starr.
