Catherine: Full Body is a remake/enhanced version of the 2011 Catherine video game.

The game was developed by Studio Zero, a team founded by Hashino after the release of Persona 5 including multiple Persona staff. Hashino envisioned the game as the definitive version of Catherine.

When asked to create a third "Catherine", Soejima was initially unsure how to proceed. He designed Catherine and Katherine as "hot" and "cool" respectively, he chose a "cute" design for the new Catherine, Rin.
